Victory Outreach Fort Worth is part of a global movement reaching cities worldwide

Victory Outreach International was founded in 1967 by Sonny and Julie Arguinzoni in East Los Angeles. What began in a small building on Gless Street has grown into a powerful global movement spanning over 30 countries with more than 500 churches and ministries.
The ministry was born from a testimony of transformation. After struggling with heroin addiction for six years, Sonny Arguinzoni's life was radically changed in 1962 through Teen Challenge, where he was reached by David Wilkerson and Nicky Cruz. Recognizing God's call on his life, Sonny enrolled in Bible College, where he met Julie, his lifelong companion in ministry.
Together, Sonny and Julie opened their home to people from the Aliso Village housing projects, sharing a simple yet powerful message: God loves you and has the power to transform your life. This humble beginning of welcoming drug addicts into their home would spark a movement that would reach the world.
Victory Outreach is an international, church-oriented Christian ministry called to the task of evangelizing and discipling the hurting people of the world, with the message of hope and plan of Jesus Christ.
This call involves a commitment to plant and develop churches and training centers, in strategic cities of the world.
Victory Outreach inspires and instills within people the desire to fulfill their potential in life with a sense of dignity, belonging, and destiny.
Victory Outreach works cooperatively with others of mutual purpose in accomplishing the task before us.
For over 60 years, the foundational beliefs that have been a primary motivating factor in Victory Outreach are seen evident in the thousands of lives that have never been the same since they walked through the doors of Victory Outreach. Victory Outreach is uniquely distinguished by its fundamental belief in God's love and in the transforming power of His love for hurting people from all walks of life.
Victory Outreach believes in the church's mission to reach the lost as mandated by Christ in what is known as the Great Commission found in the Gospels. Jesus commands his disciples "… go and make disciples of all nations" and "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation" (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15).
Victory Outreach believes that the Spirit of God is still actively working in the building of the church through manifestations such as the Baptism of the Holy Spirit for the empowerment of service, speaking in tongues and the impartation of spiritual gifts to each believer (Acts 1:4-8, Acts 2:1-4, 1 Cor 12, Rom 12:5-8).
The beliefs of Victory Outreach can be classified as Evangelical and Pentecostal. The following is the organization's Statement of Faith which are the nonnegotiable tenets of faith that all Victory Outreach churches adhere to:
Victory Outreach International

The Bible is the all-sufficient rule of faith and conduct and the verbally inspired, authoritative Word of God.

There is one living and true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three persons in one substance, equal in power and glory.

God created all things — the universe, life, and humanity — and man was made in God's image.
Scriptural Support
Statement of Faith
Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for our sins, bodily rose from the dead, now sits at the Father's right hand, and will visibly return again.
Scriptural Support
Statement of Faith
Humanity fell into sin through Adam's disobedience, and all people are inherently sinful and separated from God without salvation.
Scriptural Support
Statement of Faith
Salvation is provided by God only through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Repentance and faith in Christ are necessary for salvation.
Scriptural Support
Statement of Faith
Believers are set apart for God at salvation and grow progressively in holiness throughout their lives.

Victory Homes Fort Worth provides a residential, Christian environment for men and women.
The purpose of the Home is to reclaim, redeem, and restore lives that have been destroyed or disrupted by drugs, alcohol and/or other substance abuse by establishing three essential values; a commitment to Christ, restoration of the family and a positive work ethic.
Statistically, there are over 300 live-in recovery homes in the U.S. and around the world. There are as many as 10,000 residents (men and women) in these recovery homes at one time. Their lodging, food, and clothing is provided at no charge. These Victory Homes go into some of the most drug infested areas of the inner cities and reaches out to men and women who are helplessly addicted to heroin, meth and other drugs. Such effectiveness comes from the fact that majority of people providing assistance are former addicts and gang members who at one time found themselves trapped in the same cycle of addiction.
The message is simple; Jesus can change and transform any life no matter the condition or the addiction. Scriptures are used as the foundation to bring a message of deliverance. Once the message is heard and received, addicts are taken off the streets or in some cases out of prison and given an opportunity to live in these Homes (as it is often referred to). The people who direct the Homes know it's not an easy road yet through tough love, compassion, and support they have been able to see tremendous results
Once a resident completes his/her stay at one of these Victory Recovery Homes, follow up is provided by the local church, where they're directed to get actively involved in the life flow of the church. Each Victory Home has a local church that residents are very much a part of and take an active role in the functions of the local church
The emphasis in these Victory Homes, is creating a lifetime of service to others. Many graduates go on to work with addicts, gangs and other hurting people by helping them know the freedom they now embrace. The bottom line: These Victory Homes have an exponential effect in helping and getting involved in reaching out to our communities. By rescuing one person, they often then, in turn, reach out too many others
As part of the Victory Outreach International family, Victory Outreach Fort Worth carries on this legacy of transformation and hope.
